Our Team

  • Kristen Tilton, Founder

Kristen is the founder/owner of Blockheads & Bows Pet Services LLC. She created B & B in November 2021 while searching for a daycare for her own dogs, Enzo and Royal. Realizing something was missing from the local market for bully breed/special needs pets, an idea was quickly born. Her goal in creating B & B is to provide safe, loving care for dogs of all breeds.

Kristen is pet CPR/first aid certified and has extensive experience with pet medications, including injectables. She is proud to have built Blockheads & Bows from the ground up and will happily talk your ear off about it any chance she gets. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and photography.

Kristen currently resides in Troy, but you can also find her a few nights a week in Saint Mary’s with her partner Dean, and his three dogs Duke, Lucy and Stella.

  • Miss Suzie

Miss Suzie joined Blockheads and Bows in June 2023, and has received excellent client feedback from her visits and walks. Her enthusiasm is contagious!

Suzie grew up in Tipp City, where she still resides. Suzie works for our local park districts, and if you shop at RPets you’ll see her in there running the show weekly where she will happily recommend treats or toys to keep your pet busy.

While at her job at Rpets, Suzie met her beloved dog Peach, who she adopted two years ago from a local rescue. In the two years since bringing Peach home Suzie has discovered an interest in canine behavior and canine enrichment.

  • Nana Pam & PopPop Dennis

Nana Pam & PopPop Dennis have been behind the scenes of Blockheads and Bows since day one. Actually, long before day one since these two are Kristen’s parents. These lovebirds have turned into full-fledged dog lovers since Kristen kept bringing home dogs, even after saying “okay, that’s the last one!”

Pam & Dennis have an American Bully, Sophie who is the pride and joy of Dennis’ life…as well as being his favorite child, sorry Kristen. They also have a special needs boxer, Jackson, who is Pam’s whole world. Nana and PopPop fill in occasionally as needed until their retirements are finalized in July 2024.
